Eftir is a café and lifestyle concept dedicated to showcasing the beauty and impact of reuse and sustainability.

Our vision is to create a warm and welcoming space where people can enjoy a wholesome meal and shop for clothing, art, and interior design — all with a clean conscience. We see it as our responsibility to offer a space built on circular values, where everything is chosen and created with care.

At the heart of Eftir lies our most important initiative: a circular packaging system designed to replace traditional paper and plastic takeaway containers.

Our Story

The journey began on a spring day, when two women with a shared passion for the environment joined forces to build what they felt was missing in the city. Today, Eftir is a reality — a vibrant, responsible concept built from the ground up.

The name Eftir means “after” in Icelandic — a nod to life beyond consumption.
Instead of use-and-throw, we believe in preserving, reusing, and giving things a second life.
