Equality Policy
Equality, Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy
Mochado is a talent agency committed to equality and the fair treatment of all — our talents, employees, clients, and suppliers. We oppose all forms of unlawful discrimination, including but not limited to:
- Age
- Gender
- Ethnicity
- Gender identity
- Pregnancy and parental leave
- Sexual orientation
- Religion or belief
- Disability
- Nationality and origin
- Marital status
We require everyone we work with to uphold this policy and ensure that all individuals are treated fairly and without discrimination.
Violations of this policy will be taken seriously and may lead to disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract. Individuals may also be held personally liable for unlawful discrimination and may be required to pay compensation.
Harassment and Workplace Environment
Mochado is committed to providing a work environment free from harassment. We promote a professional culture where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
Workplace harassment is unacceptable and unlawful. We have clear procedures for reporting harassment, and all cases are handled confidentially and professionally.
What Is Defined as Harassment?
Bullying and harassment include any behavior that is intended to, or has the effect of, creating an intimidating, degrading, or offensive environment. This may include:
- Physical harassment: Unnecessary physical contact or assault
- Verbal harassment: Unwanted comments, suggestions, offensive jokes, or gossip
- Non-verbal harassment: Offensive images, posters, graffiti, exclusion, or lack of cooperation
Harassment can have serious consequences for individuals, including stress, anxiety, and reduced self-esteem.
Zero Tolerance for Bullying and Harassment
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and harassment, both in and outside the workplace. This includes work-related situations such as social events or modeling assignments.
Such behavior may result in termination of employment or contract and, in severe cases, legal consequences — even if the act was unintentional.
For example, a person may believe a joke about race, religion, or sexual orientation is harmless, but if someone feels offended, this may constitute harassment.
We do not expect everyone to be friends, but we do expect everyone to treat each other with respect and dignity, regardless of personal opinions.
If a client or third party harasses an employee or talent, Mochado must be informed immediately to ensure that it does not happen again.
Reporting Procedure
It is important that anyone who experiences harassment feels safe to come forward. Our reporting procedure allows for both formal and informal complaints.
All cases will be treated seriously, fairly, and confidentially. In some cases, it may be necessary to involve witnesses or other parties, but we will always do our utmost to maintain discretion.
If an investigation confirms a complaint, immediate action will be taken to stop the harassment and prevent it from recurring.
