Sonja

Sonja Wanda (born September 19, 1984, in South Sudan) is a Norwegian-Sudanese model with a career spanning both Norway and the United Kingdom.

Wanda came to Norway and the town of Fredrikstad as a refugee at the age of six. Before that, she had lived two years each in Egypt, Kenya, and Sudan. In 2002, at the age of 18, she moved to London to pursue a modeling career, and in 2004, the British newspaper The Observer ranked her as one of the ten most talented models in the fashion industry. She stayed in London for nearly 20 years before returning to Norway in 2011.

She had a supporting role as Tomine Kranz in NRK’s drama series Exit (2019–2021), and has appeared in the French film Par Instinct (2017) and Netflix’s Home for Christmas 2.
