Ronald Belaza is one of the founding pioneers of the waacking style in Norway.

Waacking is a theatrical dance style that originated in 1970s Los Angeles. It’s a form of disco dance characterized by expressive arm movements and strong character work. The style is often blended with other urban dance forms such as locking, funk, and various jazz styles.

He also completed a postgraduate teaching qualification in jazz dance at KHiO and studied acting techniques at the William Esper Studio in New York.

After completing his education, Ronald has performed as a dancer for artists such as Carola, Loreen, Samsaya, and Madcon. He has danced in various television productions and performed on a wide range of theatre stages both in Norway and internationally.

Ronald Belaza has taught and competed in waacking around the world for many years. He is currently performing as a dancer in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar at Trøndelag Teater.
